Dear Rex,
I really,
really, really miss you. I wish you were here. You
taught me a lot. With you, I learned how to tack up more,
post, canter, clean feet, lead, and tie a lead rope.
I liked it when
you made your funny faces. I'll remember when you pawed for
your food, got snot all over my mom and I, and when I would give you
carrot treats you would wiggle your nose and the treat would fall
out of my hand.
You and me were
a team. It makes everything harder. I can't stop
thinking about you and I can't think straight. I know you'll
always be with me and in my heart. I'll never forget you.
